Jide Impressive haul of medals started in the morning with Alexander M winning Gold and this was quickly followed with a siver medal for Peter S, Mollie F took a bronze. Ronan G was unlucky and came away with a 5th place. This wrapped up Jidel interest in Age Band A which was watched a supported by the Jidel hopefuls who will be old enough to compete in this event next year.

Age Band B, Del I lost out in the fianl to take a silver medal in the -55kg, followed by Storm I coming in 2nd place in the girls - 57kg. Ewan F, like Ronan ended up with a 5th place.

Age Band C saw Daniel P take gold, with Daniel applying his first competitive strangle. Corey Y took a bronze in the girls -44kg category.

Age Band D saw our 3 UK School Games Champions in action again, with Alison W who drew a line under who is Scotlands No 1 with another outstanding performance taking gold, Chris W again threw everyone with Uchi- Mata for Ippon to secure gold, apart from our own Jason G who took silver in the same category.

To the final of the day a repeat of the UK School Games final in which this saw Scott I take the final gold for Jidel, Well done to Adam L who took a bronze in the same weight category, having moved up from his normal fighting weight of -73kg due to recent injuries.

Nine out of the ten players who competed in age bands B, C and D have all qualified for the British Age Band Championships in Sheffield in 4 weeks time.
